Pumpkin Hulsey Gamefowl are extremely handsome and are our personal favorite..They are well suited to their name with their gentle tones of delicate titian blending to rich apricots and deep salmons...
The Pumpkin Hulsey males MUST BE KEPT SEPARATE FROM OTHER MALES AT ALL TIMES from about 5 months of age.. They will fight to the death, as they were once bred for.
Female Pumpkin Hulsey are very protective mothers and are good setters. They lay a medium sized tinted egg.
These birds are young and healthy layers that will give you years of enjoyment.

All of the hatching eggs at Gabbard Farms are gathered promptly, held at a cool 50 degrees and are turned daily during their 1-3 day storage to ensure freshness and maximize viability.....

***Our eggs are guaranteed to be fresh and get you in good shape for hatching. Our rooster to hen ratio is at least 1 to 7 in each coop.
VERY IMPORTANT: As with ALL reputable breeders, we DO NOT GUARANTEE HATCH RATES due to circumstances beyond our control.
(Seldom but occasionally, regardless of how carefully your eggs are packed, packages are mishandled and delicate eggs arrive broken....this is why we include extras...if you have MORE than your extras arrive broken....please contact us..)......
