Just like it looks, a vintage Butcher's Tenderizing Meat Hammer!
A hair over 13" long and mallet/head section is 4-3/8" x 2-1/8"
Obviously, it can still be used, though it has graced the walls of a mountain cabin for approx 30-40 years. I'm guessing it at approx 40-75 years old.
