Channel Master Satellite Dual IF Line Amplifier
The 5213IFD is a general purpose, low cost satellite IF (950-2050 MHz) Dual line amplifier with 13 dB gain at 1450 MHz and appropriate gain between 950 and 2050 MHz to give cable slope compensation.
* With long (greater than 100 feet) runs of coaxial cable from satellite receiver to LNB
* In a satellite IF distribution system where signal levels may have become marginal towards the end of the system
* Prior to splitting a signal many ways which might cause excessive splitting loss
* Care should be taken not to overload the amplifier (see specifications). Depending upon LNB gain, this will usually involve leaving a minimum distance of 100 feet of RG6U between the LNB and the line amplifier
* Model 5213IFD includes two amplifiers in one housing. This is for dual cable, dual polarization systems.
